We have just returned from an extremely challenging and adventurous trek in the Eilat Mountains. Over 6 days we trekked through wadis and canyons, climbing high rocky peaks and descending into deep valleys. More importantly, we raised valuable funds for the projects we support in Israel. . The One to One Project (charity no. 801096) was originally set up to help disadvantaged immigrant families in Israel.
Over the years, as well as financial aid to alleviate poverty, we provide medicines, equipment and treatment for the sick and disabled. We also fund specialist counselling for children and families who have been traumatised by war and domestic violence, and supply vital educational materials and equipment.
Keeping children safe and off the streets is an integral part of the work of the charity. One to One have set up safe havens, taking children off the streets away from prostitution and drug abuse. As these needs have increased, One to One are opening more centres and cycling clubs to give the children much needed after-school activities.
The One to One team are continually looking for new ways to raise money. Our sponsored treks are one exciting and challenging way of helping others. We take our adventurers up mountains and across deserts, expanding their horizons and opening their eyes to the needs of children wherever we go.

Tadela and Nagus (pictured with their coach Avi Noam) were chosen to represent Israel in the International Cadet Olympics as part of a 5 man team, and the team secured 4th place overall.
The 2 riders are from one of our after-school cycling clubs and will be joining One to One trekkers on their Israel trek in November. Please help us to continue supporting our cycling project, enabling more young people to participate in our after-school activities.
