One to One helps and supports the thousands in need in Israel through numerous projects
The One to One Project (charity no. 801096) was originally set up to help disadvantaged immigrant families in Israel.
Over the years, as well as financial aid to alleviate poverty, we provide medicines, equipment and treatment for the sick and disabled. We also fund specialist counseling for children and families who have been traumatized by war and domestic violence, and supply vital educational materials and equipment.
Keeping children safe and off the streets is an integral part of the work of the charity. One to One have set up safe havens, taking children off the streets away from prostitution and drug abuse. As these needs have increased, One to One are opening more centres and cycling clubs to give the children much needed after-school activities.
The One to One team are continually looking for new ways to raise money. Our sponsored treks are one exciting and challenging way of helping others. We take our adventurers up mountains and across deserts, expanding their horizons and opening their eyes to the needs of children wherever we go.
Support a charity trek and you are guaranteed an outdoor adventure experience of a lifetime!
We have climbed Kilimanjaro, crossed the deserts in Namibia and Israel, scaled a
volcano in Morocco and trekked the Inca trail to Machu Picchu in Peru.
If you are over 18 and have a spirit of outdoor adventure, join us and make a real
difference to other people’s lives at the same time.
All we ask is that you pay a registration fee and raise the minimum level of sponsorship
required for our treks, the majority of which will go directly to the people who need our help!
